What is Architectural Mesh
Introduce
Jumao architectural mesh is durable, functional, beautiful and generous. From initial cleaning to long-term care, the following tips will help you maintain your wire mesh.
Different alloys and finishes require different levels of care. The following recommendations apply to stainless steel, powder coatings, decorative plated finishes, life finishes, and PVD coatings and are good initial guidelines for general care.
Powder coating finish for architectural mesh
Powder-coated finished wire mesh provides the ability to achieve almost every color in the rainbow. In order to maintain the appearance of powder coated wire mesh, regular maintenance is recommended. The amount of care and maintenance required depends on the conditions of use or exposure.
Clean the powder-coated surface with clean warm water, a clean cloth or rag, and a mild household cleaner. Avoid using power washers, as the pressure may exceed the adhesion. Avoid harsh or abrasive cleaners and detergents. Highly shiny and dark surfaces may show fine scratches or swirls with a hard scrub or abrasive cleaner. Due to the surface topography, low-gloss or textured surfaces may contain sticky cleaners or pastes.
Characteristics of Architectural Mesh
The unique characteristics of a architectural mesh's webbed bread layer mean that it is often chosen to meet the following requirements:
• Solar energy and climate control
• Security
• Light transmission
• Reflectivity
• Longevity
• Serviceability.
Jumao provides design, manufacturing and installation services for our metal mesh curtain walls, and has independent structural calculation support. Our perforated, expanded and woven mesh materials can be economically applied to new and refurbished structures and can cover large spans with minimal support.
Architectural mesh shading
Construction wire mesh offers superior quality when used as a sun shield, visor or sunshade. As the sun rises in the sky, the penetration of direct sunlight through the grid gradually decreases, achieving maximum effect when the sun is at its highest point. The exact level of shielding provided is relative to the Angle of sunlight, so in this way, the effect of shielding the sun is similar to that of blinds.
Decorative Plating For Architectural Mesh
Decorative plating is an electrodeposition process in which a thin layer of brass, nickel, chromium, or copper is deposited on the surface of a wire mesh in a slot dip procedure. A decorative antique plating finish can really bring out the texture of woven wire mesh in a way that other paints cannot. The thin layer of metal does not hide the details of the metal mesh, but highlights it. The antique plating process introduces a dark oxide layer on top of the bright plated alloy. The visual depth is then physically eased by the high point of the wire mesh, allowing the bright plated alloy to show through. After plating, a thin coat of paint is applied to prevent further tarnishing of the surface.
